World War II Photo ID Exhibit
The Pocahontas County Historical Society Museum in Marlinton, West Virginia, is the summer host site
of the "Preserving Pocahontas" Photo Exhibit and ID Project
honoring the men and women from Pocahontas County who entered military
service during World War II.

The Calvin Price Papers
Correspondence, documents
and personal memorabilia belonging to the late Editor of The Pocahontas
Times is now being archived and made available to the public for the first
time. Price gained notoriety in 1938 when named "Typical Country
Editor" by the American Newspaper Assn. And appeared on Gabriel
Heater's radio show "We the People." His papers have been in
boxes since his death in 1957.
